The terms for using PickMyStream.

1. What the site is

The site helps you find what to watch and where it streams in the United States, tells you what is on TV tonight, measures your internet connection in your browser, and shows which Spectrum TV and Internet plans fit the streaming apps involved. It is free to use and has no accounts.

2. How we are paid

Spectrum (Charter Communications) pays Artists & Robots to build and run this site, and pays a fee when a visitor clicks through from this site to Spectrum’s website. Every link that sends you to Spectrum’s sales pages is a paid link, goes through our own address first, and carries a note saying so where it appears; the spectrum.net sign-in links for existing customers, and the source credit on the About page, are not paid links. Artists & Robots builds and runs the site. Spectrum’s plans, prices and offers are Spectrum’s; the offer terms shown beside them are Spectrum’s own disclaimers, reproduced word for word, and any purchase you make happens on spectrum.com under Spectrum’s terms, not ours.

The site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock, Paramount+, Prime Video, Apple TV+ or any other streaming service, network or studio. Their names and logos belong to their owners and appear only to identify where a title streams or airs.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Streaming availability data provided by JustWatch. TV schedule data is from TVmaze, licensed CC BY-SA. Channel lineups are from TV Media. Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, IMDb and Letterboxd scores are supplied through MDBList; Rotten Tomatoes and Tomatometer are trademarks of Fandango Media, LLC.

3. The information can be wrong

The concierge is an AI. When you use the search box on Explore or the concierge on a title page you are talking to an automated system, not a person. It looks titles up in the sources above before it names them, and it says so when it cannot find something, but it can still be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Check anything that matters (a price, a date, whether a title is really on a service tonight) against the service itself before you act on it.

Availability and prices change. Which app carries a title changes daily and by region; we show what our sources reported when we last checked, and we date it. Streaming app prices are list prices as of the month shown. Spectrum prices, plan names and included apps are as Spectrum published them on the date shown and are subject to Spectrum’s disclaimers; the only price you can rely on is the one Spectrum quotes you.

Nothing here is advice. Speed test results are a measurement from your browser to a test server at one moment and are not a statement about your internet provider’s service. Savings figures in the Switch Score are arithmetic on the prices you enter and the list prices we publish, nothing more.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• scrape, crawl, copy or bulk-download the site’s pages, data or images, or use the site’s data to build a competing service or to train a machine learning model;
• send messages to the concierge by script, bot or automated tool, or attempt to get around the site’s rate limits;
• fetch the Spectrum link addresses (/go/spectrum) other than by clicking a link on a page as a person; automated or repeated requests to those addresses are treated as fraud against our client and may be reported;
• probe, disrupt or overload the site or its providers;
• use the concierge to generate unlawful, harassing or abusive content, or to seek content that is illegal;
• misrepresent who you are, or use another person’s reviewer sign-in.

We may block traffic that breaks these rules without notice.

5. Ownership and licences

The site’s text, design, code and the way its data is compiled are protected by copyright and other laws. Title metadata, images and availability come from the licensed sources named in section 2 and remain their owners’ property; your use of that data is governed by their licences, not by these terms. Trademarks named on the site belong to their owners. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes; nothing here grants you any other licence.

6. Links to other sites

The site links to spectrum.com, to streaming services and to the sources named above. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

7. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including that the site will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, or that any title will be available where or when we say it is.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Artists & Robots and its people will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or money, arising from your use of the site or from anything on it, including a decision to buy or change an internet or TV service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). Some states do not allow these limits; where that is so, they apply to the extent permitted.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction.

10. Age

You must be at least 13 to use the site. The site is not directed to children under 13.

11. Changes and ending

We may change these terms; the effective date at the top will change when we do, and continued use after that date is acceptance. We may withdraw the site or any feature at any time.
